AddWorks® TFB 117

AddWorks® TFB 117 by Clariant is a heat- and light stabilizer for polyamides. It is a synergistic solution with better processability (spinnability) even at low processing temperatures. When introduced during polymerization together with the monomers, it shortens the polycondensation time by 20-30%. Caprolactame can accelerate the polymerization. It offers increased throughput, improves color, enhances thermal- , UV stability along with higher resistance to washing and deep and homogeneous dyeability for fibers. It also improves mechanical properties of polyamide fibers (tenacity, elongation and modulus). Compatible with PA6, PA66, PA11, PA12 and related co-polyamides. Suitable applications include clothing, carpets or industrial polyamide fibers. There is less filaments breakage at high speed spinning (up to 5,500 m/min) with the use of AddWorks® TFB 117. It has a minimum shelf life of 2 years.
