Exolit® AP 468 (TP)

Exolit® AP 468 (TP) by Clariant acts as a halogen-free, micro-encapsulated flame retardant. It is based on a non-hygroscopic and non-flammable, highly water resistant ammonium polyphosphate (APP). Designed for polyurethane foams, insulation, dispersion, fibre/ fabric treatment and rubber seals. It is manufactured from long-chain phase II APP by micro-encapsulation with melamine formaldehyde resin according to Clariant’s unique method. Provides low viscosity in aqueous suspension, lower heat stability and improved powder flowability. Exolit® AP 468 (TP) is suggested for PU resins, epoxy or unsaturated polyester resins.
