Hostavin® 3326 P by Clariant acts as a UV absorber. It has a broad absorptivity in the UV-A and UV-B range and for this reason, it is not only suitable for the protection of polymers but also applied in packaging materials, e.g. films, ensuring a high level of protection for the good underneath the packing, such as textiles.

It got several approvals for polyolefin based plastics articles in direct contact with food.
It has a high stability against thermal degradation and a low volatility.
Hostavin® 3326 P has a minimum shelf life of 3 years.
