Atmer™ 121

Atmer™ 121 by Cargill is a non-vegetable-based, anti-fogging additive. This modified glycerol ester additive is recommended for use in LDPE and EVA based films. It can be dispersed evenly through the polymer melt phase and migrates to the surface of the polymer where it helps to lower the surface tension and subsequently causes the water droplets to spread into a continuous, uniform layer on the fabricated film. It improves transparency through packaging & durability of contents and creates appealing packaging content for consumers. It is compatible with polymeric acrylic, vinylic, UV- and polyolefin system. Atmer™ 121 is used in film production applications. It is FDA approved.
