Crodamide™ EBO (Bead) by Croda is a vegetable-origin, bio-based, secondary bis-amide additive, incorporated directly into polymers. It acts as an anti-tack additive for EVA. The polymers with a soft or tacky pellet form like SBC exhibits adhesion between polymer pellets when exposed to elevated temperatures and pressures. Crodamide™ EBO (Bead) helps to reduce the contact area between pellet surfaces and prevent any unwanted tack and adhesion. It offers medium slip, anti-block, thermal stability, mold release and composite lubrication properties. It is compatible with acrylic, vinylic, UV, polyolefins and styrenic systems. Recommended for automotive plastics, film production and wood polymer composites. Crodamide™ EBO (Bead) is suitable for processing by injection molding. It is approved by FDA (175.300).
