Incroslip™ SL

Incroslip™ SL by Croda is a food approved additive which acts as a slip agent, release agent and anti-scratch agent. It exhibits excellent color- and oxidative stability with organoleptic, low application and release torque. Provides long lasting slip performance by combining slip of erucamide and stability of behenamide. Retains color stability and reduces tackiness. During polymer cooling, it migrates to the surface forming a lubricating layer. The layer of Incroslip™ SL reduces the CoF lowering friction between surfaces hence. This means that resin containing Incroslip™ SL maintains high slip for much longer, potentially resulting in products with a longer shelf life. It is stable in applications exposed to sunlight. Offers scuff protection, low visible bloom and enhanced mold release properties. Reduces width, depth and appearance of scratches. Compatible with PP, HDPE, LDPE and LLDPE. Suitable for use in packaging films, automotive parts, caps and closures and molded articles. Its addition levels are 0.1-0.25% for film grades, 0.2-0.5% for injection molding grades and up to 1% for compression molding grades. Complies with FDA, REACH, New Zealand, ENCS/ISHL and EINECS inventory. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
