Erucamide 95% by Darwin Chemical Company is a nitrogen derivative of erucic acid. It acts as an anti-sticking lubricant, release and antistatic agent of polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP).

Adding 0.05-0.2% of erucamide can reduce friction from 4.55 to 1.11 between polypropylene films.
Erucamide 95% has a high melting point and good stability at high temperature.
