2-hydroxy-4-n-octoxybenzophenone. Acts as a UV absorber. It protects polymers from UV radiation and helps to preserve the original appearance and physical integrity of molded articles, films, sheets, and fibers. Used for a variety of plastics and other organic substrates such as polycarbonate, PE, PVC, ABS resin, polyurethane, phenolic resin, paraffin as well as rubber. Recommended to be used at dosage of 0.1-1.0%.
