DOWSIL™ 4-7081 Resin Modifier

DOWSIL™ 4-7081 Resin Modifier distributed by DKSH is a halogen-free, siloxane process aid/FR synergist. This powdered siloxane is recommended as processing aids in highly filled thermoplastic formulations such as flame-retardant wire and cable, window profiles and pipes. Benefits observed include reduced die drool and torque, increased/maintained impact and tensile strength and lower water absorption. DOWSIL™ 4-7081 Resin Modifier shows improved scratch and mar, higher LOI, lower heat release rate, smoke and rate of toxic gas evolution. The shelf life of this product is 24 months.
