Deovulc® DPG by DOG Chemie is diphenylguanidine. Acts as a vulcanizing accelerator. It activates and increases the degree of crosslinking when used in combination with MBT and MBTS and provides a better reversion resistance in diene rubber. It has a strong influence on the vulcanization speed as a secondary accelerator with sulphenamides. Especially in silica containing compounds good mechanical properties are obtained. The dosage rate is 0.2-2.0 phr.
