DOMPLAST ALTRIX 3024

DOMPLAST ALTRIX 3024 by Domus Chemicals is polyolefins entrapped in 20% DHBP [2, 5 dimethyl-2, 5 di (tert-butyl) hexane peroxide]. Acts as a crosslinking agent. Works through a controlled radical decomposition and crosslinking of the polymer backbone and also modifies polymer rheology. Increases and/ or decreases MFI (melt flow index) selectively. Doesn’t require radical initiators or synergists for its functioning as it is easily activated by the temperature. Compatible with polyolefins. Suitable for extrusion and injection molding of polymers and plastics. Useful for the production of compounds, extruded blow molded films and non-wovens. Recommended dosage is 0.5-2% loading into polypropylene (PP) that increases flow index and 0.2-1% loading into polyethylene (PE) that decreases flow index. Complies with REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals).
