Diisodecyl adipate (adipic acid ester of isodecyl alcohol). Acts as a plasticizer. It is a monomeric ester that is clear liquid in appearance. Compatible with main thermoplastics, cellulose-based polymers, PVA (polyvinyl acetate), PVB (polyvinyl butyral), PVC (polyvinyl chloride), chlorinated rubber, NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) with 30% & 20% ACN (acetonitrile) and NR (natural rubbers). Suitable for applications where low volatility and resistance to extraction by soap and detergents is needed. Complies with REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals).
