Chlorez® 700 by Dover Chemical (ICC Industries) is a solid, 70% chlorinated alkane. It acts as a flame retardant and shows excellent synergies with antimony trioxide. It is used as a coupling agent in mineral filled polypropylene composites. It is suitable for use with alkyd resins. Chlorez® 700 has a shelf life of 2-4 years.
