Paroil® 57/61

Blend of 1057 & 1061. Used as extreme pressure additive in metalworking fluids, this product is also used for several resin systems. It is insoluble in water, lower alcohols and glycols, but soluble in most organic solvents. Easily emulsified for blending into water based formulations, its applications also include rubbers including Neoprene, polyurethanes, and flame retardant paints and adhesives. To obtain the optimum cost performance, it is usually used in combination with a synergist such as antimony oxide or a phosphate ester.
This product is no longer available and is replaced by Paroil® 58-NR.
