VORASURF™ FF 5955 Additive

VORASURF™ FF 5955 Additive by Dow is a low viscosity silicone polyether surfactant for flexible polyurethane slabstock foam applications. It enables higher air flow, better aeration, EO-rich, low density, viscoelastic or hypersoft foams for more lightweight, high-comfort bedding and furniture applications. Used in combustible modified polyether and MDI viscoelastic foams, high ethylene oxide rich polyol-based MDI/ TDI systems and low-medium density conventional foams produced using a wide range of blowing agents such as carbon dioxide, acetone, or vacuum. Shows good performance with auxiliary blowing agents, thus offering transition towards low ozone depleting potential (ODP) and low global warming potential (GWP) options, including carbon dioxide.
