XIAMETER™ OFS-6341 Silane

XIAMETER™ OFS-6341 Silane by Dow is high purity, undiluted N-octyltriethoxy-silane which assists in formulating penetrating treatments that provide water repellency or to alter the polarity of surfaces.

It improves dispersion of polar fillers in covalent matrices.
It possesses small molecular structure for deep penetration of concrete surfaces.
It can also be used to improve the compatibility of mineral fillers or pigments in polyolefins or to ease their dispersion in nonpolar matrices.
When diluted with an appropriate solvent, it can be used in the formulation of water repellent products.
It is used in commercial buildings, parking decks/garages, highways, bridge structures and filler modification.
The shelf life of XIAMETER™ OFS-6341 Silane is 720 days.
