Allnico® PBOX

Allnico® PBOX by DSM is phenylenebisoxazine. Acts as a chain extender for polyesters and polyamides. Serves as a cost effective, fast and flexible way to increase molecular weights in a strictly linear way. Improves mechanical properties of polyesters (PBT, PET) and polyamides (PA) at reduced cost. Reacts very fast during processing of polycondensates with carboxylic acid groups. No volatiles emitted during the ring opening reaction. Exhibits advantages like acid scavenging and expected non-toxicity. Used for applications like PET and PA industrial yarns/ fibers, PET bottles, custom containers and films, PA, PBT, POM, and PET engineering plastics for E&E and automotive.
