Conpol™ 5B10S1

Inorganic-type anti-blocking and amide-based slip masterbatch made from an ethylene methacrylic acid copolymer. Contains 5% anti-blocking agent and 10% slip agent by weight. It is a concentrated additive resin. Designed to modify the surface properties of films that are made with Surlyn® or Nucrel® resins. It improves slip and reduces blockings. Intended for use by blending into Surlyn® or Nucrel® resins with a maximum processing temperature of 310°C. Suitable for blown and cast films, coextrusion. Recommended for films, profiles and sheeting. The dosage rate lies within 2-8% into a given Surlyn® or Nucrel® resin. Conforms to the Code of Federal Regulations (Title 21, Paragraph 177.1330) for food contact applications.
