Crystex™ HD OT 20

Crystex™ HD OT 20 by Eastman is a non-blooming vulcanizing agent for unsaturated elastomers. It retards bin scorch, prevents migration of sulfur and preserves surface tack. It offers improved flowability, dispersibility, non-staining and non-discoloring properties. At vulcanization temperatures, it de-polymerizes to soluble sulfur and behaves similarly to "Rubber Maker's" sulfur. It is a metastable product that can revert to soluble sulfur if not stored under proper conditions. Crystex™ HD OT 20 is designed for the manufacture of tires and other plied-up rubber goods.
