Eastman DOM plasticizer

Eastman DOM plasticizer by Eastman is a blend of bis(2-ethylhexyl) maleate (>96.5%) and bis (2-ethylhexyl) fumarate (<3.5%). Acts as a specialty plasticizer. It is a water-insoluble colorless liquid with slight ester odor. It is a co-monomer normally used in polymerization with vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride, styrene and derivatives of acrylic and meth-acrylic acids. It has applications in coatings and is used as a specialty plasticizer. Also used in applications such as latex paints and textiles. Eastman DOM plasticizer is listed in TSCA (US Toxic Substances Control Act), DSL (Canadian Domestic Substances List), AICS / NICNAS (Australian Inventory of Chemical Substances and National Industrial Chemicals Notification and Assessment Scheme), MITI (Japanese Handbook of Existing and New Chemical Substances), ECL (Korean Toxic Substances Control Act), PICCS (Philippines Inventory) and IECSC (Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China) inventory bodies.
