Eastobrite Optical brightener OB-1 by Eastman is an effective brightener for many plastics. It offers good thermal stability and compatibility with many polymers. It imparts a pleasing whiter-than-white appearance and gives more intensity to some colors in polyester and nylon fibers. Eastobrite Optical brightener OB-1 is used for fibers and non-wovens.
