Picco™ A120 Hydrocarbon Resin

Picco™ A120 Hydrocarbon Resin by Synthomer is a non-polar, processing aid. It is a low molecular weight, thermoplastic resin produced from petroleum-derived monomers. It is characterized by excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, oxygen, UV light and moisture. It shows good color stability, the balance of flex, tear, tack and adhesion properties. It is polymerized under conditions that control its softening point within a narrow range. It provides excellent solvent release and wide solubility, water repellency, pigment wetting and can be used with both reinforcing and non-reinforcing fillers. It is compatible with SBR, modified rosins and rosin esters, alkyds and drying oils, polar elastomers, epoxy resins, chlorinated rubber and partially compatible with EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) co-polymers. Picco™ A120 Hydrocarbon Resin is used in packaging-, non-food contact-, specialty tape, wires and cables. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
