Piccotac™ 7590-N Hydrocarbon Resin

Piccotac™ 7590-N Hydrocarbon Resin by Synthomer is a tackifier. It is a light-colored, low odor an aromatic-modified, aliphatic hydrocarbon resin. It offers low softening point and low-temperature properties. It shows a good balance of peel and shear properties. The specific degree of modification provides excellent compatibility with styrene-based thermoplastic elastomers, in particular SBS and SEBS block co-polymers. It is also compatible with natural-, synthetic rubbers, EVA copolymers, SIS and SIBS block co-polymers, APAO, mPE, mPP, SBR, low molecular weight polyethylene, paraffin and microcrystalline waxes. Piccotac™ 7590-N Hydrocarbon Resin is recommended for packaging-, non-food contact-, specialty tape, wires and cables. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
