Santocure® TBSI

Santocure® TBSI by Eastman is N-(1,1-dimethylethyl)bis(2- benzothiazolesulfen)amide. Acts as an accelerator. Used in difficult process, thick articles requiring a balanced cure throughout the cross section and used to optimize adhesion between rubber and brass coated steel cord. It enables improved reversion resistance and gives lower heat generation during dynamic mechanical service conditions. Santocure® TBSI may cause at high level slight discoloration in white or light colored compounds, but it is non-staining.
