TS 1891

TS 1891 is 3-Mercaptopropyltriethoxysilane (content greater than 97%). Acts as a coupling agent. It improves the cohesiveness between the fillers containing hydroxyl groups and unsaturated polymers having double bonds. It enhances physical and mechanical properties of vulcanizates. It can markedly improve tensile strength, tearing strength and abrasive resistance and reduce compression set of vulcanizates. Additionally, it can reduce the viscosity and improve the processability of rubber products. Fillers like silica, talc powder, mica powder and clay can be used in combination with TS 1891 in polymers such as SBR, NBR, NR, EPDM, epoxy resin, polystyrene resin etc. Recommend dosage 0.5-3.0 PHR. It has a shelf life of 1 year.
