Polyplastol 6

Polyplastol 6 by Eigenmann & Veronelli is a mixture of high molecular unsaturated fatty acids & zinc salts. It is a general purpose processing aid & physical peptizer for NR. It is recommended for the processing of ethylene propylene copolymer- & terpolymer and natural-, butadiene- & styrene butadiene rubber by injection molding & extrusion. Its sulphur chelating effect on accelerators and its lubricant properties due to its long hydrocarbon chains make it suitable for usage with all polymers. It is used to lower power consumption during mixing cycle, lower dumping temperature & mooney viscosity in association with chemical peptizers. It can obtain perfect vulcanization, uniformity & improve filler dispersion. Polyplastol 6 meets FDA and BGA requirements for use in compounds that may come into contact with food stuff. The shelf life of the product is 2 years.
