Di Iso nonyl Phthalate acts as a plasticizer. It is a clear, colorless liquid. It is obtained by the reaction of phthalic anhydrite with iso nonyl alcohol. It forms a paste with a lower viscosity as compared to DOP and provides volume advantage since its density is less than DOP. It exhibits electrical resistance, does not cause any changes in the chemical structure of the polymer and provides required changes in physical and mechanical properties. Used as a softener in all PVC paste and pulp mixtures. Suitable for calendaring systems, automotive sector, cable production, synthetic leather production, bookbinding fabric production, PVC and floor covering production. Complies with REACH regulation.
