Nan-O-Sil ASD

Nan-O-Sil ASD by Energy Strategy Associates is an ultra fine (sub micron), bright white, spherical, discrete, non agglomerated, non-porous, high purity, amorphous colloidal silicon dioxide. Produced through high temperature hydrolysis in a hydrogen oxygen flame. Used as a processing aid. Imparts reduced shrinkage, flow line and improved surface appearance at <1.0% wt. Exhibits improved pigment (and additive) dispersion to the extent pigments can be reduced in both amorphous and semi-crystalline polymers. Reduces cycle time in PP – 22%, nylon 6 (unfilled) – 24%, nylon 6 (335 glass filled) - 32%, PBT – 26%, and ABS – 25% and nucleated PP resins – 20%, Acetal -23% PC (33% glass) – 29%, PPS – 31%, PEEK – 22% without any negative impact on physical properties.
