Zano® 20 Plus-3

Zano® 20 Plus-3 by EverCare is zinc oxide with ester-functional surface treatment. Acts as a transparent broad-band UVA and UVB absorber. Combines the excellent broad-band UV protection properties with high levels of transparency when introduced into plastic films. Shows effective anti-bacterial performance, even when embedded into polymer systems. The use of surface treatments can control photo catalytic effects that may negatively impact polymer properties. Zano® 20 Plus-3 is recommended to add into an extrusion process via high-concentrate masterbatches as it has shown to give more efficient dispersion than direct addition in low concentrations.
