5-Hexen-1-ol by Evonik acts as a crosslinker, modifier and polymerization agent for plastics. Suitable for polyolefins (polybutylene, PE- HDPE, LDPE and LLDPE) and polyester (co-polyester, saturated polyester, UP resin, epoxy resin). Also applicable for Poly siloxane, polyvinyl alcohol, PUR, polyacrylate and polyamide. 5-Hexen-1-ol complies with REACH and EINECS 212-477-4.
