CUREZOL® 2MZ Azine by Evonik is an accelerator in the reaction between epoxy resins and other curing agents. Exhibits rapid cure beyond activation temperatures. Suggested for casting, potting and encapsulation of electronic devices, electrical laminates and composites. Provides high thermal and chemical resistance. Offers single package latency from several hours to greater than six months. When used alone, imidazoles are some of the most efficient types of Lewis-Base catalysts. At use levels of less than 8 phr, they initiate anionic homopolymerization, creating highly cross-linked networks. CUREZOL® 2MZ Azine has a pot life of 30-40 days and shelf life of 3 years.
