Dabco® LK-443

Dabco® LK-443 by Evonik is a unique organic surfactant for use in rigid polyurethane applications to provide a smooth surface. It can be used as a replacement or co-surfactant for silicone-based surfactants. Possesses excellent hydrolytic stability and cell stabilization. Reduces pinholes to a minimum level.

• It promotes excellent surface quality in rigid spray systems.
• Used in the production of rigid foams with fine cell structures, low K-factors, a low percentage of open cells, excellent dimensional stability and high strength properties.
• It is highly recommended for use in spray foams, particularly roofing formulations.
• Dabco® LK-443 helps to minimize pinholes and the "orange peel" effect typically observed with silicone-based surfactants.
