Dabco® SI1103

Dabco® SI1103 surfactant by Evonik is a silicone stabilizer. It has been developed especially for systems characterized by self-supporting performance, where cell regulation is critical. Typical examples are MDI cold cure systems for automotive industry. Prevents foam defects such as coarse cell structure and voiding beneath the foam surface. It works as a cell regulator without increasing the closed cell content or foam tightness. It is part of a new generation of low fogging silicone stabilizers with very low contribution to VOC and fogging values. Dabco® SI1103 surfactant is designed to give very low emissions in standard emission tests. Typical use levels are 0.80 – 1.00 pph polyol; depending on the raw materials and processing conditions.
