Dynasylan® 1401

Dynasylan® 1401 by Evonik acts as an adhesion promoter, surface modifier and reactant for product modification. It has an amine-like odor and is suitable for inorganic materials including glass, metals and fibers as well as organic polymers including thermoplastics, thermosets and elastomers. It is the starting material in the synthesis of amino-functional silicones. Also recommended for phenolic, furane and melamine resins, mineral filled composites. Offers improved mechanical & impact strength and modulus of elasticity. Provides moisture and corrosion resistance. It is registered with REACH, EINECS/ ELINCS, AICS, DSL/ NDSL, PICCS, TSCA, IECS, ECL and ENCS. Dynasylan® 1401 has a shelf life of 12 months.
