GETREN® R 4280

GETREN® R 4280 designed by Evonik is a release agent for automotive rubber hoses. It is a silicone oil-free additive recommended for EPDM and NBR. Also suitable for silicone, FKM and PVC. Offers easy washability, temperature stability, excellent biodegradability i.e. potential cost savings in waste water treatment. It helps to reduce static and sliding friction without damaging the inner surface of the hoses in the extrusion process of green tubes and their vulcanization in the second production step. GETREN® R 4280 provides excellent sliding properties with no negative impact on the physical properties of the rubber.
