GETREN® R 4520

GETREN® R 4520 by Evonik is a release agent by Evonik. It is silicone oil-free additive designed for automotive rubber hoses. Provides excellent sliding properties with no negative impact on the physical properties of the rubber. It helps to reduce static and sliding friction without damaging the inner surface of the hoses in the extrusion process of green tubes and their vulcanization in the second production step. Offers easy washability, temperature stability, excellent biodegradability i.e. potential cost savings in waste water treatment. GETREN® R 4520 is recommended for VAMAC and ACM/AEM as well as also suitable for silicone and FKM.
