JAYHAWK™ BTDA™ Microfine

3,3'4,4'-Benzophenonetetracarboxylic Dianhydride. Acts as a crosslinking agent. Staple ingredient of workhorse polyimide matrix resins and epoxy resins. Enhance thermal and fire resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical resistance and fire resistance. Provides minimal outgassing of polyimide foams, increased reactivity and cross-link density and increased durability. It is a micronized, light-tan, free-flowing powder. Ideal for aerospace ducting, fuselage insulation and encapsulants for enhanced compatibility with a multitude of substrates, components and environments, including those found in appliances, telematics and the newest generation of electric vehicles. Other applications in pipeline protection and concrete rebar, high strength and lightweight aluminum conductor composite core transmission lines, hot gas filtration and fire-resistant clothing.
