Polycat® 141

Polycat® 141 by Evonik is a low-emissive amine catalyst for low density, water blown, open cell spray polyurethane foam (SPF). When used in combination with a catalyst such as Polycat® 140 or Polycat® 31, it effectively improves the water-isocyanate blowing reaction. It acts as a co-catalyst and should be used with Polycat® 140 and/ or Polycat® 31 for improved performance. It is capable of fully replacing emissive, industry-standard, BDMAEE based catalysts, resulting in low odor and reduced potential for Glaucopsia or "Blue Haze". It reduces emissions and promotes fine cell structure. Polycat® 141 can be used in water blown, low-density spray polyurethane foam.
