Crystex™ OT 33

Crystex™ OT 33 by Eastman is a non-blooming vulcanizing agent for unsaturated elastomers. At vulcanization temperatures, it de-polymerizes to soluble sulfur and behaves similarly to "Rubber Maker's" sulfur. It is non-staining and non-discoloring, a metastable product that can revert to soluble sulfur if not stored under proper conditions. It offers critical dispersion in rubber. Crystex™ OT 33 is suitable for the manufacture of tires and other plied-up rubber goods.
