Santoflex™ 77PD

Santoflex™ 77PD by Eastman is an antiozonant and antioxidant. It is recommended as a polymerization inhibitor in styrene monomer, p-methylstyrene, divinylbenzene and acrylate esters production and as a column antifoulant. It provides stabilization for a wide range of solution and emulsion polymerized elastomers that can tolerate discoloration and protection against catalytic degradation by copper and other heavy metals. It offers improved flex fatigue protection. Due to its high solubility in rubber, it does not bloom or easily leaches from compounds even at high concentrations. It is compatible with natural- and synthetic elastomer compounds, particularly in static applications for compounds containing no wax. Santoflex™ 77PD is suitable for tires used in aircraft, OTR, mobile homes, agricultural equipment, structural mounts, fixed hoses and gaskets. It has a shelf life of 24 months.
