Promix® 400

Promix® 400 by Flow Polymers improves blending and processing. It is also used as a homogenizer for the bromobutyl/NR polymer system. This copolymerized hydrocarbon resin contains aromatic, naphthenic and aliphatic components. It possesses increased bromobutyl content and provides better inflation pressure retention, lowest intracarcass pressure and better durability. It is compatible with many elastomers. This additive reduces O₂ permeability. It improves innerliner adhesion to carcass. Promix® 400 also shows improved barrier even in 100% bromobutyl systems. It provides opportunity to reduce tire oxidative degradation for improved tire durability. It controls cost control through use of bromobutyl with natural rubber and potential for gauge reduction. Also, provides improved resistance to fatigue and improved processability. It is used to improve the performance of tire innerliner formulations. It is compliant with European PAH regulation.
