Mark® T 682

Mark® T 682 by Galata Chemicals is an octyltin carboxylate organotin heat stabilizer. It is mainly used in the production of rigid PVC packaging materials to comply with food regulations. It is especially suited for extrusion blow molding of very thin, almost odorless packaging film with very good transparency. It requires a careful adjustment of lubricants and processing aids. Mark® T 682 can also be used for pre-stabilizing PVC in the polymerization reactor. At concentrations of 0.1 - 0.3 phr the thermal decomposition during the monomer stripping process of the polymer can be considerably reduced. PVC resin pre-stabilized with it shows no staining by applying the commonly used thermostabilizers during processing.
