Granic® 282

Granic® 282 by GCR Group is a reinforcing lamellar mineral masterbatch designed to improve mechanical and barrier properties. It is 100% recyclable, environment friendly and just 26% dependent from crude oil. Exhibits good transparency and excellent dispersion. Offers improved water vapor transmission rate and oxygen transmission rate. Improves stiffness, enhances dimensional stability and increases the modulus allowing to downgauge. It shows no migrations with any acid pH. It can be used in monolayer and coextrusion process. Granic® 282 is compatible with polyolefin, PET, PLA and other bio-resins. It is recommended for flexible & rigid food packaging applications on central layers up to 40% replacing virgin PE. It is food approved and can be used in contact with any food or liquid.
