SynPrime™ 8AD by GEON Performance Solutions is an aliphatic adipate ester which is API category Group V fluid. It acts as a lubricant. It has relatively high viscosity index, excellent low temperature flow & good solvency. It offers improved biodegradability over mineral oils & other synthetic alternatives. It can lower operating costs by reducing energy consumption and equipment downtime. SynPrime™ 8AD is recommended for high temperature applications that require oxidative stability. It is designed for use in automotive and industrial lubricant applications such as transmission & gear fluids. It is suitable for aviation engine- & compressor oils.
