Firemaster® 520 by Lanxess is a reactive, low viscosity, halogenated flame retardant. It offers greater processing latitude and improved polymer curing in comparison to PHT4-diol. This product exhibits excellent compatibility with a broad range of commercial polyols and blowing agents. Firemaster® 520 shows lower viscosity, higher reactivity profile and drop-in replacement by weight for PHT4-DIOL™ in most applications. It is used in class 1 & 2 rigid polyurethane foam, RIM, elastomers and fibers. The shelf life of this product is 6-12 months.
