Microfine® AO3 by Lanxess is antimony trioxide-based flame retardant. It is used in combination with a source of halogen. Microfine® AO3 possesses high tinting strength. It is used in rigid and plasticized PVC compounds and thermoplastic compounds. This product is used where tensile and impact properties are critical or in very thin wall applications to improve surface finish and electrical properties.
