PHT4-DIOL™ LV

PHT4-DIOL™ LV by Lanxess is a tetrabromophthalate diol grade. Acts as a flame retardant. It is a light brown viscous liquid. Exhibits low viscosity (pours at room temperature) offering improved process handling and storage characteristics versus neat PHT4-DIOL™. Exhibits excellent compatibility with a broad range of commercial polyols and blowing agents. Completely soluble in dichloromethane, toluene and methyl ethyl ketone. Suitable for Class 1 and Class 2 rigid polyurethane foams, polyurethane RIM (Reaction injection molding) and elastomers.
