ZB -223

ZB-223 by Lanxess is zinc borate-based flame retardant/smoke suppressant. The particle size and refractive index of ZB-223 results in tinting strength which is a benefit in minimizing pigment loadings and in translucent formulations. This product is highly recommended for PVC and also finds applications in polyolefins, polyurethanes, thermoset resins, thermoplastic elastomers and rubbers. It can also be used in certain applications as an afterglow suppressant and anti-arcing agent.
