GC UV 234 by GreenChemicals acts as a UV absorber. It is a 2-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-4, 6-bis (1-methyl-1-phenylethyl) phenol. It prevents yellowing and degradation of polymers. It can be used in polymers processed at high temperatures. GC UV 234 is compatible with polycarbonates, polyalkylene terephthalates, polyacetals, polyamides, polyphenylene sulfide, polyphenylene oxide, aromatic copolymers, thermoplastic polyurethane fibers, polyvinylchloride, styrene homo- and copolymers.
