Paraplex® G-40

Paraplex® G-40 by Hallstar is polyester adipate which is a high molecular weight permanent plasticizer.
  • It offers excellent durability, low volatility and excellent resistance to extraction by hydrocarbon solvents and freedom from migration.
  • It is well suited for PVC compounds which are in contact with rubber or rubber-based materials.
  • It is a limiting factor in certain PVC applications include reduce compatibility at high plasticizer levels or in high humidity environments, extractability by aqueous media and low plasticizing efficiency.
  • It is used in electrical tape, industrial aprons, industrial hose & tubing, oil seals and shoe liners.
  • It is used in cellulose acetate butyrate, cellulose acetate propionate, chlorinated rubber, nitrile, nitrocellulose, polyvinyl acetate and polyvinyl chloride.
  • It provides 80% reduction in VOCs compared with texanol.
  • Paraplex® G-40 meets and exceeds international regulations.
